In this project, I wrote a proposal for a research project exploring partnerships between community college libraries and writing centers. I determined that a quantitative survey research method would be best suited to address my research question and to contribute knowledge to the LIS field. In the literature review section of this assignment, I critiqued and synthesized research studies related to my research question and identified gaps in the existing literature. This project also aligns with competency 6C in the Core Competences for Librarians because I learned how to evaluate the value of new research.
