Project Description
For this project for LIS 60512, I developed a dynamic web application that utilizes a database, visualization, and an application programming interface (API). In this course, I gained an understanding of the role and principles of web-based information applications and linked data that enable the management and use of modern library and information systems, and their content. This project aligns with competency 3A in the Core Competences for Librarians because I learned about the organization and representation of information through databases and web-based applications.
