Project Description

In this project for LIS 60010, I worked with four other MLIS students to create a group website which focuses on the evolving roles of librarians and information professionals. We explored our own specializations within the information landscape and learned about our groupmates’ interests as well. My "neighborhoods" of interest within the information landscape involved Information Access and Discovery and Information Organization.

This project coincides with competency 5G in the Professional Competencies for Reference and User Services Librarians because my groupmates and I discussed and reflected upon how we, as information professionals from various domains, could work together to improve information services in the future. Through various collaborative channels, we learned how our career goals connect and intertwine.
